Insurance Specialist

Job Description:

  • Responsible for retrieving insurance benefits
  • Responsible for updating patients about insurance information
  • Responsible for maintaining an accurate insurance database
  • Will be handling recare breakdown to check eligibility, maximum benefits remaining, and any pending claims
  • Will be responsible for ensuring accuracy of benefits breakdown upon retrieval and data entry

Skills, and Qualifications:

  • Must have excellent and accurate data entry skills
  • Must have excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
  • Must have excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Must have ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork among everyone
  • Must have ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must have excellent organizational skills
  • Must be proficient in Dentrix
  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree/ Associates Degree in Accounting or Dental
